This is why I created www.looksgoodinpictures.com, because the cars almost always look great in those internet photos (or the actual Kodak or Polaroid pictures that we used to send to prospective buyers through the U.S. Mail in the days before the internet!). This is not to say that most sellers are trying to deceive potential buyers. Often it is the case that the seller is not a 'car person' and simply does not recognize these deficiencies. There's not a problem buying a car with flaws, it is just important for the buyer to know what those flaws are before sending their hard earned money across the country.

Having grown up in the car business combined with a lifelong vintage automobile obsession has allowed me to be in a unique position to be able to help you with your specialty car or one that you are considering buying. At 13 I began detailing cars at my father's dealership after school and on weekends in 1978 and have been polishing cars ever since.

​In addition to preparing cars for the show field, I have also bought and sold quite a few specialty cars, ranging from Model A & Early V8 Fords and vintage Mustangs to models from Porsche, Ferrari and others, both old and new.
